The idea for this small contemporary (off-)space for interdisciplinary art, culture projects and concerts came during the uncertain winter of 2020/2021. We are very happy to make live-recording and live-streaming at SOSO space possible.
To shoot a lot of different events like concerts, lectures, dancing or other performances in the same narrow space could be tricky with a fixed installation. Also we wanted the video production to become an essential part in the choreography of an event.
It was important to us to have flexible and organic camera movement and close shots to feel the room rather than proposing a very clinical and static stream. Through on-stage shoulder cameras and consequent live-editing we created a more immersive experience.
