Amnesty International’s Swiss section plays a special role in it’s global network. Regional offices in Zurich and Geneva are set within hotspots of humanitarian collaboration. Also: Fundraising from Switzerland contributes to the international organization as a whole.
That’s why those locations attract many of Amnesty’s agents from around the world. For the fundraising campaign called Be There, we wanted to sit down with the people who pass by Switzerland before or after their field work and record their message.
To create a link between exponents of Amnesty’s Crisis Response and potential donors we asked our interviewees to look directly into the camera. Talking freely they decided themselves on the most urgent topic. Text alignment and word emphasis are in accordance with Amnesty’s guidelines.
